Where It Started
From a young age, I knew I’d pursue a creative path. Illustration has always been one of my strongest skills - something that follows me into almost all of my projects. What began as a passion I nurtured during recess and classroom crafts grew into a skill I’ve intentionally developed through years of practice. Illustration continues to be both my creative anchor and something that I can utilize in bringing community together, both in my career & outside.
Great At Receiving Feedback
Illustration comes with its own set of challenges, especially when balancing creative vision with client needs. At times, clients may request a style that differs from my natural approach or require multiple rounds of iteration. I see these moments as opportunities rather than obstacles. By asking thoughtful questions, sharing visual references early, and staying flexible in my process, I’m able to adapt my style while maintaining strong visual clarity. Iteration is a key part of refining ideas, and I use feedback as a tool to strengthen the final outcome and ensure the work aligns with both creative and business goals.
Problem Solving
Illustration is more than a visual skill for me, it’s a way of thinking and problem-solving. My approach balances creativity with adaptability, ensuring the final work feels intentional, refined, and aligned with its purpose. Whether I’m exploring new styles or refining through iteration, I stay grounded in collaboration and clear communication to deliver illustrations that truly serve the project.
